Centering Partners Voices

PHP Organized the online meetings to share the actions around the partners. So this program mainly discussed on the Cobalt and Lithium Mining in the DR Congo and Argentina on 21 of January 2025. We could have heard powerful testimonies from Francisca Beatriz Perea (she goes by Keti) about the impacts of a major lithium project on water resources, food production, and society in the Catamarca province of Argentina, and we heard from Jean Claude Mputu and Dirk Shaka about the impacts of cobalt mining in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the resulting pollution, negative health outcomes, dislocation of communities, and poverty.
