NGOs have to work more to empower the people for their the land issue- Discussed at the PARL meeting

People's Alliance for Right to Land (PARL) Network meeting held today at the Women's Education and Research Centre (WERC) Auditorium in Colombo. Civil society leaders were present for the meeting and discussed about the Panama , Sampur, Mullikkulam, Valigamam and Kalpitiya issues. For the more the committee has decide to hold a public forum to gather the people's opinion for the new constitution in order to get recommendation on land policy.herewith the committee discussed about the Port city project as well.
