People’s Forum

On May 21, a People’s Forum for the Sustainable Infrastructure Community was launched at Kulakottam Hall in the Trincomalee District. During the event, participants were mobilized on the mission, objectives, and activities of the Alliance for Sustainable Infrastructure (ASI) by ASI convener Samantha Abeywickrama and NAFSO/Praja Abhilasha coordinator Priyankara Costa.They had to appointe two chair persons but we could appointe one from civil society organizations Nishaka Rangani.Other one we will plan to appointe from Government setor or Business sector.Rest of the team appointed from Media ,Women,Environment ,Fisheries ,Fort and transport sector. They decided 04 actions within May and June. 01.Get the projects plan information though RTI /ASI promised to support . 02.Follow up getting the discussion with District secretary. 03.Published the Trincomalee People Forum though media.. 04.Plan out the sectorial discussion. #joinhandsaginsthunger #nafsosrilanka #LandRightsNow
