The management are insisting the worker to pluck 18kg for the day wages but due to the drought , the workers are unable er to pluck 18kg per day. at the same time the production also are decreasing day by day therefore the workers are unable to go to work every day. Kandavalai People in Nortehrn Province are facing land issues - Says Divisional Secretary
25592 members from 80,055 families have been resettled since 2009 in 16 GN divisions of Kandavalai Divisional secretary area in Kilinochchi District. even if the people resettled, the people are facing many issues. but the major issue is Land issue.says R.Mugunthan -the Divisonal Secretary of Kandavalai in Kilinochchi district of Northern province of Sri Lanka.
