PA has conducted a meeting with Sampur people on 30th Jan 2016

A leadership team was built in Sampur in order to lead the campaign strongly by the people.even if 250 families resettled in the Sampur area, still more than 500 families have been living ion the Kilivetty, Kattaiparichchan and Manatchenai IDP camps. Therefore the leadership team will pressure the relevant institution and government to resettle the families who are in the IDP camps.

A workshop was conducted by the PA/NAFSO/STP at Agriculture colleage in Jaffna in the north part of Sri Lanka. 24 participants were present and explained about the Land issues. The emphasized that their land supposed to utilize for the Tourism by the government while they were living in IDP camps.
