"Tell the truth" " We need information on Trincomalee development plan" "What happen to our lands,livelihoods and houses" People has these questions ,So Citizen comity with other CSOs asked the meeting from District Secretary. People got opportunity from DS on 04 of April .11 village leaders , 03 CSO leaders and Catholic Prist participated the discussion.From the Government side Trincomalee District Secretary Mr.Chaminda Hettiarachchi, Additional District secretary and 03 officers from the Urban Development Authority join the meeting.After they explain the process of the urban development plans ,people asked the questions.They couldnt give the clear answers to the people .We felt that they dont have collaboration among the authorit officers. So finally District Secretary promise to call a meeting in May with all the relevant officers.NAFSO/PA and ASI organized and support to the event.
