"A Change in the Food System"

Communities that recognized the need for alternative food systems came together to share their ideas and experiences.
During these discussions, small-scale food producers explored topics such as their current food production practices, the value chains they contribute to, market identification, and the sustainable use of resources.
Experience-sharing programs with community leaders from Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Ampara, and Monaragala Districts were held on October 12, 13, 14, and 15.
The main objective of these events was to consolidate the views of the people and prepare a conceptual document on alternative food systems, thereby building a collective process to influence the government for necessary policy and system changes.
විකල්ප ආහාර පද්ධතිවල අවශ්යතාවය හඳුනාගත් ප්රජා කණ්ඩායම් එකට එක්වමින් අදහස් හා අත්දැකීම් බෙදා ගැනීමට අවස්ථාවක් උදා විය.
කුඩා ආහාර නිෂ්පාදකයින් දැනටමත් සිදුකරන ආහාර නිෂ්පාදන ක්රියාකාරකම්, ඒ මගින් ගොඩනැඟෙන අගය දාමයන්, වෙළඳපල හඳුනා ගැනීම, සම්පත් භාවිතය ආදිය පිළිබඳව විශාල සංවාදයක් මෙම සාකච්ඡාවලදී පැවතුනි.
මෙම සංවාද වැඩසටහන් මඩකලපුව, ත්රිකුණාමලය, අම්පාර සහ මොනරාගල යන දිස්ත්රික්කවල ප්රජා නායකයින් සමඟ අත්දැකීම් බෙදා ගැනීම ඔක්තෝබර් මස 12, 13, 14 සහ 15 යන දිනවලදී පැවැත්විණි.
මෙහි ප්රධාන අරමුණ වන්නේ මෙම ජනතා අදහස් ඒකරාශී කරමින් විකල්ප ආහාර පද්ධති පිළිබඳ සංකල්පීය ලියවිල්ලක් සකස් කිරීමත්, එමගින් ජනතාව එක්ව රජයට බලපෑම් කිරීමේ ක්රියාවලියක් ගොඩනැගීමත් වේ.

மாற்று உணவுக் கட்டமைப்புகளின் தேவையை உணர்ந்த சமூகக் குழுக்கள் ஒன்று கூடி தங்களது அனுபவங்களையும் கருத்துக்களையும் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டனர்.
இக்கருத்தரங்குகளில் சிறு அளவிலான உணவு உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் தங்களது தற்போதைய உற்பத்தி நடவடிக்கைகள், அதனால் உருவாகும் மதிப்புச் சங்கிலிகள், சந்தை அடையாளம் காணுதல் மற்றும் வளங்களின் பயனுள்ள பயன்பாடு போன்ற விஷயங்களை விவாதித்தனர்.
இந்த அனுபவப் பகிர்வு நிகழ்ச்சிகள் மட்டகளப்பு, திருகோணமலை, அம்பாறை மற்றும் மொனராகலை மாவட்டங்களில் அக்டோபர் 12, 13, 14 மற்றும் 15 ஆம் தேதிகளில் நடைபெற்றன.
இந்நிகழ்வுகளின் முதன்மை நோக்கம் மக்களின் கருத்துக்களை ஒருங்கிணைத்து மாற்று உணவுக் கட்டமைப்புகள் குறித்த கருத்துக் கோவை ஒன்றை உருவாக்குவது மற்றும் அதன்மூலம் மக்கள் ஒன்றிணைந்து அரசாங்கத்திடம் கொள்கை மற்றும் அமைப்பு மாற்றங்களுக்கான அழுத்தத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் செயல்முறையை அமைப்பதாகும்.
