අතුරුදන් වූවන් වෙනුවෙන් අඛණ්ඩව ගෙන ගිය අරගලය අගය කරමින් ස්විඩන් රජය විසින් පිරිනමන “Per Anger” සම්මානයෙන් පිදුම් ලැබූ බ්රිටෝ ප්රනාන්දු මහතාගේ ඇගයීම් සම්මාන උළෙල අද (2026/05/24) රද්දොළුව අතුරුදහන් වූවන් සැමරීමේ ස්මාරකය අසලදී පැවැත්වුණි.
අතුරුදහන් වූවන්ගේ පවුල් එකමුතුවේ සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවියන්, සිවිල් සංවිධාන නියෝජිතයින්, ආගමික නායකයින් සහ මානව හිමිකම් ක්රියාකාරීන් රැසක් මෙම අවස්ථාවට එක්ව සිටියහ.
ජයතිලක බණ්ඩාර සහෝදරයාගේ ගීතමය වැඩසටහන තුළින් අරගලයේ මතකයන් බොහෝ දෙනෙකුගේ හදවත් තුළ නැවතත් ජීවමාන වූවා නොඅනුමානය.
මෙහිදී අදහස් දැක්වූ බ්රිටෝ ප්රනාන්දු මහතා ප්රකාශ කළේ,
“මෙම සම්මානය මට පමණක් අයිති එකක් නොව, අතුරුදහන් වූවන් වෙනුවෙන් අඛණ්ඩව අරගල කළ දෙමාපියන්ටත්, සියලුම අරගලකරුවන්ටත් අයිති ගෞරවයක්” බවයි.

A felicitation ceremony was held today (2026/05/24) near the Memorial for the Disappeared in Raddolugama to honor Brito Fernando, who received the “Per Anger” Award from the Government of Sweden in recognition of his continuous struggle for the rights of the disappeared.
Members of the Families of the Disappeared collective, civil society representatives, religious leaders, and human rights activists participated in the event.
The musical performance by Jayathilaka Bandara brought back powerful memories of the long struggle and touched the hearts of many participants.
Speaking at the event, Brito Fernando stated that:
“This award does not belong to me alone. It belongs to all the parents and activists who have continuously struggled for justice for the disappeared.”

காணாமல் ஆக்கப்பட்டோருக்கான தொடர்ச்சியான போராட்டத்திற்காக ஸ்வீடன் அரசின் “Per Anger” விருதைப் பெற்ற பிரிட்டோ பெர்னாண்டோ அவர்களுக்கு பாராட்டு விழா இன்று (2026/05/24) ரத்தொலுவ பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ள காணாமல் ஆக்கப்பட்டோரை நினைவுகூரும் நினைவிடத்துக்கு அருகில் நடைபெற்றது.
காணாமல் ஆக்கப்பட்டோரின் குடும்பங்களின் ஒன்றிய உறுப்பினர்கள், சிவில் சமூக அமைப்புகளின் பிரதிநிதிகள், மதத் தலைவர்கள் மற்றும் மனித உரிமை செயற்பாட்டாளர்கள் இந்நிகழ்வில் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
ஜயதிலக பண்டார அவர்களின் இசை நிகழ்ச்சி போராட்டத்தின் நினைவுகளை பலரின் மனதில் மீண்டும் உயிர்ப்பித்தது.
இந்நிகழ்வில் உரையாற்றிய பிரிட்டோ பெர்னாண்டோ அவர்கள்,
“இந்த விருது எனக்கு மட்டும் சொந்தமானதல்ல; காணாமல் ஆக்கப்பட்டோருக்காக இடையறாத போராட்டம் நடத்திய பெற்றோர்களுக்கும் அனைத்து போராட்ட செயற்பாட்டாளர்களுக்கும் சொந்தமான மரியாதையாகும்” என தெரிவித்தார்.
